David W. Seeger
is the President & CEO of Great Lakes Credit Union, Inc. of Toledo, Ohio. He has held this position since February 24, 1992. In turn, he has been an educator for the Business Department of Owens Community College for over 12 years. David earned these esteemed positions through hard work and with his impressive employment history and educational background.

Before coming to Great Lakes Credit Union, David held the positions of Floating Branch Manager at First Federal Savings and Loan of Toledo, Ohio; Branch Manager of First Federal Savings and Loan of Delta, Ohio; and finally, CEO of TPS Credit Union of Toledo, Ohio. 

His academic achievements include an Associates Degree in Business from Owens Community College, where he received Highest Honors upon graduation. From there, he earned a BA in Business Administration from Lourdes College, where he graduated Cum Laude. David also holds a Basic Certificate from the American Institute of Banking as well as a Certificate of Financial Education from the Institute of Financial Education. 

In 1983, David formed his own business, Seeger Consulting Service, to advise clients on business plans, strategic and tactical marketing plans, accounting set-ups and other business related issues. David's experience as a consultant, as well as his aforementioned background in the financial industry, has afforded him opportunities to speak publicly on issues of Business, Finance and Professionalism for local businesses and professional organizations.

David is an active and dedicated member of many of the professional organizations that he speaks for, as well as several others. These include: Society of Credit Executives, Credit Union Executive Society, International Credit Association, Rotary Club of Toledo, National Notary Association and the local chapter of Ohio Employer's Association. He is the former President of the N.W Ohio Association of Credit and the former Treasurer of the local chapter of Business Network International.

David is also strongly devoted to numerous, local civic programs and their causes. He volunteers his time for the Toledo Museum of Art, the YMCA's fundraising campaigns, Habitat for Humanity, St. Joan of Arc Parish and the Ohio Reads Program. He is an energetic and participative member of the Toledo Zoological Society, St. Johns Jesuit High School Father's Club and the local chapter of Hibernians. Finally, David proudly serves as the President of his College Alumni Association and is an Alumni Advisor for the college's Business Education Department.

In his "spare" time, David keeps himself busy with his personal interests of physical fitness, reading, art, playing piano and spending time with his wife Tracy and his two sons, Anthony and Jonathon.
